Last week, Jim Clark and Dave Wachter premiered their new webcomic The Guns of Shadow Valley. Clark and Wachter have had at various cons over the last year preview copies of this comic but have decided to take it to the web where they could get the story out and do it in a way that they wanted.
It’s been over a year since I read the preview comic so I don’t remember where the series is going but I do remember really liking the book. It has a supernatural Unforgiven feel to it so far.
Wachter’s artwork is impressive and moody. You can see examples of his commission illustrations at his website http://davedrawscomics.blogspot.com and see how versatile of an artist he’s become. He’s an excellent illustrator and the new webcomic shows that he’s pretty good at doing comics as well.
You can read the first few pages of The Guns of Shadow Valley at their website http://www.gunsofshadowvalley.com. I believe new pages are going up a couple of times a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
