Buffy The Vampire Slayer Tales Of The Vampires (lcs)– Written by Becky Cloonan and drawn by Vasilis Lolos, this should be a sharp book. But it does make me wonder when Pixu is finally going to come out.
Batman And Robin #1 (lcs)– It was a mess but, honestly, I’ve enjoyed Morrison’s Batman as well as all of his recent traipses into the DCU, including Final Crisis. The team of Morrison and Quitely have never disappointed me and I honestly don’t think this book will be an exception to that.
Green Lantern Corps Sins Of The Star Sapphire TP (lcs)– More groundwork laid out for Blackest Night. The Patrick Gleason artwork has always made this book an incredibly solid and dependable read.
Seaguy The Slaves of Mickey Eye #3 (lcs)– And here’s the second part of Morrison’s tag team this week.
Agents Of Atlas Vol 2 #6 (lcs)– Another solid book but I wish it were more than that.
Muppet Show #3 (lcs)– I liked the existential breakdown of Fuzzy Bear last issue a lot more than I liked the first issue. (I wish I was kidding about the whole “existential breakdown,” but that’s what the issue was, with the typical Muppet humor, of course.)
Tezukas Black Jack Vol 5 TP (dcbs)– Get it!
Slam Dunk Vol 4 GN Viz Edition (dcbs)– I have so much Inoue to read. Honestly, for some reason, his work kind of intimidates me. I can flow through Tezuka or Urasawa right now. Inoue feels like it requires my full attention.
