I feel all out of sorts having to wait until Friday to get my comics.
- Final Crisis Secret Files #1 (lcs)– I’m really debating on this one. I’ve already seen it and it just did nothing for me, providing an origin story for Libra and then some sketches. This may be the first Final Crisis book that I just put back on the shelf.
- Justice Society Of America Vol 3 #22(lcs)– At long last, Thy Kingdom Come wraps up. I was reading the middle chapters of this storyline last night and I found myself really enjoying them even if Johns has too many characters and has to skimp on the characterization.
- Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 #8 (War Of Kings Tie-In) (lcs)– This issue scares me for two reasons. 1) It’s a tie in with War of Kings, an event that I’m not totally sold on yet and 2) it doesnt’ feature Paul Pelletier’s artwork. This has been my favorite new series of the last year but I just don’t feel good about it crossing over with X-Men characters.
- Incognito #1 (lcs)– A couple of weeks ago, I reread Brubaker and Phillip’s Sleeper and enjoyed their super-powered crime story so I’m looking forward to Incognito, where they seem to be going over some of the same ground but from a different perspective.
