Over on the Bullpen Bulletins 11 O’Clock forum, forumite Siren 3-4 posted about his love/addiction of comic based statues and the post contains a number of photos of his impressive collection (hey look at the Maxx vs. the Pitt with Spidey caught in the middle!) But there’s one image for his collection that really caught my eye:
Look at penguin Solar and Shadowman. Aren’t they cute.
SIren 3-4 explains how the penguins were created by comic artist Sean Chen:
“The penguins are sculpted and painted by Sean Chen.
“If you see him at conventions he usually has the Marvel and DC ones for sale, that is the only way to get them.
“The Valiant penguins he made special for us over at the Valiantfans website. They are limited to about 40 pieces each. Sean Chen also sculpted and painted the Full size Solar statues, Red (36 copies), Black (10 copies) & unpainted (4 or 5 copies).”
