Note: It occurred to me after posting this that we don’t know why this issue has been pulped. It could be just because of a misprint (see the first Crisis on Infinite Earth’s hardcover) or it could be due to content. It’s too early to draw conclusions about the reasons for DC’s actions.
I can barely even remember when the last issue of All Star Batman and Robin The Boy Wonder came out but #10 was due out this week. But for some reason, it sounds like retailers are being told to destroy their copies and DC’s website now lists this issue as coming out on September 24th.
All Star Batman joins Elseworlds 80 Page Giant and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen #5 as books that DC has pulped. One was due to a perceived shot at DC’s competition Marvel and the other due to it’s showing a baby (albeit a Superbaby) in a microwave oven. We’ll have to see if copies of this latest issue get leaked out somehow.
Of course, DC has also recalled books due to misprints. While it wasn’t pulped, DC recalled the original Crisis on Infinite Earths hardcover back in the late 90s when a page was misprinted. The erroneous page was cut out of the book and the correct page was tipped in.

It was pulled because of readable swear words that were blacked out. You can buy copies of ebay for quite high prices.
