- Green Lantern Vol 4 #34– How many more issues is this Secret Origin arc? I’ve had this love/hate relationship with this arc as it feels more self indulgent than anything, as Johns tries to retcon his own take of Green Lantern on the history and origin of Hal Jordan. It’s not a bad story but it feels like it’s already gone on for 3 issues more than it needed to.
- Jonah Hex Vol 2 #35– J.H. Williams III does the artwork, doesn’t he? That means this issue will be worth a look
- Invincible Iron Man #5– This is turning out pretty good, even if the art is kind of weak. I like how Fraction is writing both Stark and Pepper.
- Dead Of Night Featuring Devil Slayer #1– I really have little interest in checking this out other than for the Chris Samnee artwork.
- Love and Rockets New Stories Volume 1– And now begins the annual Love and Rockets book. I’ve actually been waiting for this one for a while now and am eager to see
- Clandestine Blood Relative HC– It’s kind of sad that while this should be considered Alan Davis’s true work, Davis has always been more of a journeyman and Clandestine is an interesting stop along his career.
- Berlin Book 2: City of Smoke– I won’t be getting this for another couple of weeks so I have some time to dig out Volume 1 and remind myself about what this whole story was about.
