Wow, what a great week this is. I’ve got a number of books on order from DCBS so it’ll be a couple of weeks before I see some of these.
- Grendel Behold The Devil #4– This mini hits the halfway point. It’s been bold and subtle simultaneously. Hunter Rose’s main adversary hasn’t been revealed yet but there’s already been a lot of action and excitement.
- Umbrella Academy Apocalypse Suite #6– I’ll be sorry to see this series end but hopefully there’s more. Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba have created some wonderful characters here and it would be disappointing not to see more of them.
- Brave And The Bold Vol 3 #10– Well if you can’t get George Perez, I guess Jerry Ordway is the next best thing. Or is this issue Perez’s last one? I can’t remember.
- Checkmate Vol 2 #23– Checkmate is easily one of DC’s strongest books right now, a great blend of espionage and capes.
- Green Lantern The Sinestro Corps War Vol 1 HC– Now that was how you do a good events story.
- Classic Transformers Vol 1TP– Ordered for Brad. He now owes me money.
- Hulk Vol 2 #2 Regular Ed McGuinness Cover– The first issue didn’t suck so I may end up picking this up but I’ll probably end up trade waiting or just forgetting to ever pick this up.
- Immortal Iron Fist Orson Randall And The Green Mist Of Death
- Order Vol 2 #8
- Order Vol 1 Next Right Thing TP– Wow, it’s a Matt Fraction week, isn’t it? I’ll be glad to finally read The Order. I’ve read a couple of issues and I’ll be picking up the remaining before it gets cancelled.
- Zorro Vol 6 #1 Regular Matt Wagner Cover– Matt Wagner and Francesco Francavilla. ’nuff said.
- Naoki Urasawas Monster Vol 13 TP– I’ve still got V12 around here somewhere that needs to be read.
- Comics Journal #288 Feb 2008– How come everyone knows about this new format except me? I’ll see this one in a couple of weeks.
