I’m beginning to realize that I’m looking forward to picking up a couple of volumes of manga (Budda v2 and Monster V12) more than most of the comics I’m currently reading. At least, more than I’m looking forward to reading the Marvel/DC books this week.

Johns has this issue to make me decide if switching to picking this up monthly was a good decision or not. I love this era of the Legion but the story is very thin right now, barely using any elements of the team that are really that enjoyable.

Superman, the Teen Titans and the Shining Knight. I’ve really been enjoying this series.
Death Of The New Gods #4
This is the series that I keep telling myself just to wait for. I don’t think I’ve actually added it to my list at the LCS so it may end up staying on the shelf this week.

Sinestro Corps was great but now I fear that we’ll be waiting 2 years for the series to move on. Let’s be honest, while there have been some pretty good stories since Rebirth, the first 6 or 7 issues were slow and kind of unexciting.

Acme Novelty Library #18 HC
Is this continuing the Rusty Brown story? The format of the book is larger than the last two volumes. I’m pretty sure that ANL #16 & 17 was on my “Best Of” list of 2005 & 2006. I sure hope #18 will be on my “Best Of 2007″ list.
Wasteland Book 2 Shades Of God TP
I’ve really got to get caught up on this series. I know I’ve read and enjoyed every issue but Wasteland is one of those books that I have a hard time remembering and it’s probably more a misfunction of my brain than a problem with the book itself.

Pax Romana #1– I may be one of the few people who didn’t care for The Nightly News. It sure looked good but the story didn’t do much for me.
