Everyone’s trying to get to the reasons behind the split of Marvel Comics and the Dabel Brothers. And, as it has been pointed out again and again, this is what the Dabel brothers do– they leave comic book publishers.
It’s difficult to figure out exactly what the Dabel Bros. got out of this deal. Most of the properties that they brought with them are staying with Marvel. From an outsiders point of view, they walk away with nothing other than a reputation for walking away.
