2) Enjoy your air conditioning and roomy living rooms.

3) Enjoy the metric ton-load of good books that came out this week. No falling behind here– you’ve got all weekend to read Grendel, Postcards, Multiple Warheadz, Crecy, Incredible Hulk, Pulphope and 24 7 and whatever books are in your pile.

4) If you must, G4 TV will probably have some programming on sometime during the weekend. Last year’s coverage was grueling and painful to watch for too long. Expect more of the same “rad” coverage this year.

5) Google “Elvis Stormtrooper.” If there’s any reason I’m sad not to be at San Diego, he’s it.
