I know that people are already posting full reviews of the book but I’m not nearly that fast of a reader. So far, I like it. This is how the sixth book should have begun with everyone knowingly in mortal danger. More happens in these opening pages than in the first six books’ first hundred pages combined. From the deaths to the maimings to the lengths taken to protect their families, the three main characters seem close to actually acting (once they can get away from Mrs. Weasley that is.)
Things I hope:
1) Ginny gets to have a big part. I really like the relationship developed with her in the sixth book and hated that it was apparently cut short. There’s obviously something still there at the beginning of this issue.
2) Neville & Luna?
3) We see much more Voldemort this book. He’s been threatening from the background (was he even in the 6th book?) but we see him early in this book and hopefully we’ll see a lot more of him.
